These respites offer an opportunity to come away with God for a sabbath rest. Jesus often “went away to a solitary place to pray” (Mark 1:35). In the same way, God longs for us to take time away to be alone….to rest, pray and listen. This time of prayer is powerful and personal. God comes to each person in very specific and unique ways. This is not a time of teaching or study; rather, it is a time to immerse one’s self in the loving presence of God. When we say “yes” to God’s invitation to come away, we open ourselves up to receive all that God longs to give and to deepen one’s connection with Jesus.
At Anne's home
Anne offers Sanctuary Days in her home. During these Sabbath days, you will have the opportunity to rest, create, and connect with God and yourself. You will be provided with a private room, prayer materials, a nourishing lunch, and art materials. Individual spiritual direction with Anne can also be incorporated during the day.

Church/Retreat setting
People at Rest gatherings provide time away with God under Anne's direction. These gatherings can be offered for your church, your staff, yourself & friends, groups, etc,. This can be done in church or retreat settings or simply in your home.

At these gatherings, there is ample time for silence and solitude.

There are Christian readings and Scripture passages provided for use during the prayer period.

Silent Directed Retreat
A Silent Retreat is a weekend of rest: an intentional time to listen for God in a new way without the busyness of life. Daily time is spent with scriptures, exploring walking paths, journaling and simply being with God. During a retreat, you will have the opportunity to meet with Anne daily to discuss what is surfacing in your prayer, your heart, and your relationship with God.
Virtual, Independent Silent Directed Retreats
Custom designed, individual Silent Directed Retreats are now offered virtually through Zoom. Please book below.
