Small Groups

Find strength and encouragement in community. Listen for God though scripture, prayer and discernment. Anne Dobbs facilitates each session, which includes:

 

  • Sharing stories of faith and relationship with God

  • Entering and experiencing Scripture through your senses and imagination

  • Discerning where and how God is moving in your life 

  • Encouraging and supporting one another through prayer and fellowship

  • Sharing and discerning God’s word through prayer and experience

  • Silent prayer 

  • Journaling

Fall Spiritual Direction Groups

The Living Word Spiritual Direction Group

​

This group will use Scripture passages, Scenes from the Gospels, and Christian readings to invite the group into a place of quiet contemplation and prayer, as well as group sharing and discernment. There will be places for sharing, silence, and spiritual direction.

​

Time: Monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12 Noon until 2:30

This group will have 9 total meetings.


Venue:  Anne’s Green Hills Home Office, 8 Foxhall Close, Nashville, TN 37215

​

Fee:  $495 One Time, $60 monthly for 9 months (September - May

Payment is required if a person misses the group. Commitment to being present for each meeting, when possible, is very valuable to the group.
